Framing and Matting:

Standard frames and mats are readily available commercially that accept the above print sizes. For instance an 8" X 10" print normally calls for a mat that has outside measurements of 11" X 14" and has an opening slightly less that the print size. Frames sized to accept mats 11" X 14" should be considered when framing and mating 8" X 10" prints.

Prints measuring 11" X 14" normally call for a mat that has outside measurements of 16" X 20" and has an opening slightly less that the print size. Frames sized to accept mats 16" X 20" should be considered when framing and mating 11" X 14" prints.
